All buses depart from and return to the Moscow Junior High School Fieldhouse
parking lot.
- If a student misses the team bus, they will not be allowed to participate in that
contest, even if they get a ride to the site with their parents.
- We believe that traveling with the team to activities is an integral part of the team
experience. All players must ride the team bus to events. Exceptions may be allowed with
prior approval in extreme circumstances only.
- We also encourage students to return from activities with the team. However, we realize
that there are times when you might want to bring your son/daughter home with you from an
activity. To do so requires a "Parental Release Form" to be given to the coach,
preferable at least one day prior to the event. Students will only be released to their
parents, not to other parents, friends, or siblings.
- Students will be given access to a phone upon return to the fieldhouse. Coaches will
remain with the students until their rides arrive, so please arrange to pick up your
student in a timely fashion.
- Students will stop for meals only on trips of 100 miles or more (round trip) unless
arrangements are made in advance. Please have students bring a cooler or a sack lunch on
shorter trips.
- Students are required to clean the bus of litter before exiting the bus.
- Normal bus rules apply such as:
- remain seated while the bus is in motion
- music should be listened to only with earphones
- noise level should be kept to a normal conversational tone
- keep all parts of the body inside the bus
- keep personal belongings out of the aisles
- no profanity
- no cleats on the bus
- no throwing objects
- In addition, players are required to exhibit good sportsmanship when riding buses either
into or out of a host town. Windows should be kept closed. Show other school districts
that Moscow is a "class act".
