Principal's Message     

   Dear Duck Families, 

   Thank you so much for visiting the web site of McDonald Elementary School!  This    
   site will provide you with important information about our school, our staff and our
   parent group.   

   I am so pleased to be the new Principal at McDonald Elementary School!  I was
   fortunate to have taught here from 1989-2000, first as a gifted/talented facilitator
   and then as a sixth grade teacher.  I have had so many wonderful duck experiences
   and am absolutely thrilled to be “returning home!”  The faculty and staff at McDonald
   School are incredibly talented and nurturing. 

   McDonald School is a place where children are valued, respected, and viewed as
   individuals with uniquely wonderful personalities.  At McDonald School, we strive to
   teach the whole child—focusing on academic, as well as social, emotional and physical 
   development.  This focus is our passion and our purpose.   

   I greatly value our duck families and look forward to active parental involvement. 
   My door is always open—I welcome your questions and ideas.   I would love to meet
   you all! 

   I am so happy to now be the Principal for all of your incredible DUCKS!!!
