Dear Stakeholders,

I am so honored and proud to be a part of the great Moscow School District, and I am passionately committed to the success of every student.   As our Mission states, “We commit all of our assets, facilities, time and energy to provide students with the tools needed to become positive members of society”.   Our students are successful because our supportive parents, community and Board of Trustees, outstanding educational professionals, and involved support services form a unique partnership that embraces learning at all levels in a safe, orderly and enriched environment.

Almost twenty-three hundred students are enrolled in four elementary schools, one junior high, one senior high, and one alternative high school.  Preschool services are also available for students ages three-five with disabilities.  We offer small class sizes, a broad range of academic programming, innovative technology programs, and a wide and varied activities program, including academic and athletic programming for almost every interest.

The Moscow School District excels because our parents, teachers, staff and community support systems do a remarkable job of encouraging our students and setting high expectations.  Our commitment to the Moscow community is to provide a supportive and caring school community for all of our students, and we aim to do everything we can to ensure each student’s academic and extracurricular success.  We know that our students will someday graduate and leave our district.  When they do graduate, we have confidence that we have prepared them well to be trustworthy, hard-working, wise and capable of honorable service to their family, community and nation.

The Moscow School District is indeed a wonderful place to educate our community’s children.  We live in a community that prioritizes education and children.  All of us who live within the district’s boundaries can stand tall and proclaim that we are invested stakeholders in the future of our children.  We can be very proud of the work that transpires each and every day in the Moscow School District.  We would like to invite you to come to your schools and meet your administrators and teachers to see the amazing work that takes place for our children.

Please feel free to contact me at any time if you would like to ask questions, share concerns, or find out more about your schools.

Sincerely,

Dale Kleinert, Superintendent
