When a donor contacts the District's Technology Department, we always ask for the specifications of the machine.

Because the computer industry constantly increases the power & lowers the price of the latest machines, we revise the minimum standards of donations on a quarterly basis.

If the machines do not meet our specs we may be able to suggest other alternatives.

Our current minimum specifications are:

• PC: Pentium 4 or above

When you call the Technology Department, we will explain the donation drop-off procedure, and upon receipt of the item, send you a letter verifying our acceptance of the specific items. It is up to each individual to work with an accountant to determine the value of the donation.

If a machine is designated for a given building, we prepare it with district software and then transport it to its new home.
