Any person interested in any matter connected with the schools may apply to the teacher or principal of a school, and then to the office of the Superintendent. If the Superintendent is unable to adjust the matter to the satisfaction of the grievant, the person making the grievance may refer the item for Board consideration in the following manner:

  1. Communications of grievances should be addressed to the Board of Trustees in writing, and presented to the Superintendent not later than five (5) days prior to a Board meeting in order that the matter may be included on the agenda.
  2. When an item concerning a group of people is presented to the Board for consideration, the Clerk of the Board shall secure a list of the names of all those present who wish to be heard before the Board. The Board may set a reasonable time limit for each speaker, and for the answering of questions.
