District Curriculum and Assessment Committee

Purpose: The District Curriculum and Assessment Committee is a professional entity that serves to review, develop, and/or organize guidelines relating to the adoption or revision of curriculum and assessment programs. The District Curriculum and Assessment Committee is expected to recommend policies and procedures to the Superintendent and the Board of Trustees to attain goals relating to curriculum and assessment in alignment with the District's Strategic Plan and the State Department of Education.

Meetings: The District Curriculum and Assessment Committee meets on the second Thursday of each month in the District Office Board Room from 3:30 until 5 PM.

Membership: The District Curriculum and Assessment Committee will be comprised of one representative from each elementary school, two representatives from each of the secondary schools, one elementary principal, one secondary principal, one Moscow Education Association (MEA) representative, two members-at-large, the Special Services Director, the Superintendent, and the Curriculum Director. The Curriculum Director chairs the Committee.
