The Board has the power and duty to: provide equipment, to buy or otherwise acquire or provide, and to sell, rent and lease school equipment of all kinds including school and office furniture, fixtures, apparatus, books and supplies needed or required by or in the schools of said District, or for the official use of the Board of Trustees.
