If a petition is denied, then the Board will prepare for petitioners a written notice of its decision to deny the charter. The written decision shall include the reasons for the denial, and shall also include a statement that explains the criteria and standards considered relevant by the Board of Trustees. (6-24-08)
The petitioners may appeal the decision of the Board within thirty (30) days of the date of the written decision in accordance with the procedures described in State Board of Education 08.02.04 - Rules Governing Public Charter Schools, Sections 401 through 402. (6-24-08)
