From time to time, District employees will be taking various prescription medications. When a driver of the District is taking any prescription medication or over the counter medication that may impair physical functioning or performance of job duties, the driver is to inform the Transportation Supervisor of the use of this medication. The Transportation Supervisor will then determine if the driver is in a condition to safely operate a school bus and perform the duties of his/her job. (11-12-01)
