The Board approves and encourages the use of school buses for field trips and activity trips. The Board approves the use of charter or commercial transportation for field trips or activity trips beyond a 100-mile radius of the district. Students participating in field trips or other student activities are required to ride the bus to and from that activity except under circumstances noted in
Policy 8140.00. The Superintendent or designee shall establish procedures for use of buses for such trips.
