☕Trustee Dulce Kersting-Lark and Board Chair Ken Faunce will be hosting this month's Coffee Chat and returning to the 📖Latah County Library on Saturday, April 18, from 11 am-12 pm. As always, all ages are welcome!

The Moscow School District is proud to announce a new alumni community recognition program called “There’s a Bear!” designed to celebrate the outstanding achievements of former Moscow students and graduates.
Through this program, community members are invited to submit the names and stories of individuals who once attended Moscow schools and have gone on to accomplish great things—professionally or personally—or who have made a positive, newsworthy impact through service, leadership, creativity, or perseverance. Whether the achievement is local, regional, or beyond, “There’s a Bear!” shines a spotlight on the many ways Moscow Bears continue to make a difference.
Selected honorees will be recognized and celebrated on social media by the district, helping inspire current students and our community while strengthening connections between past and present Moscow Bears.
Submissions are open to all members of the community. To nominate a former Moscow student or graduate simply click here and fill out the short form!! - https://forms.microsoft.com/r/Asi9zDhgPB

Kids are always welcome!

Parents and Guardians,
Thanks to every single one of you for sharing your student!!!
Today I had the privilege and honor to travel around this amazing place that we have and hand out small candy canes as a symbol of best wishes to all of the students. I handed out more than two thousand candy canes and that meant thousands of smiles, laughs, handshakes, and hugs. It was beautiful. There is no better job in the world than mine and our district truly has amazing students and families at all grade levels and buildings.
I am deeply impressed every time I travel around at the quality of staff that we have in all positions throughout the district. From janitors to lunch staff, paraprofessionals to teachers, and principals to bus drivers we have amazing people serving you children! They take pride in our jobs and the difference that we make for kids! We welcome every child and provide them with the resources they need to grow and succeed. Each and Every Child!!!!
I wish you all a wonderful break filled with light and love!!! This new year has multiple things cooking that I believe will mark a new and even more forward focused era in our system.
I hope to see you soon!!

Parents, Staff, and Community,
As of 7:30 tonight, power has been restored to all of our school buildings and we plan to resume normal operation tomorrow, December 18th 2025. See you then! Just two more days until a break!
Also, to Kylie, Wyatt, Boaz, and every other student giving me a hard time about never calling a snow day... Today totally counts as a snow day.
Mr. Tiegs
Parents, Students , and Community Members,
Due to a significant wind event, and the loss of power at multiple school sites. I have made the decision to close school and cancel all operations for Wednesday, December 17th 2025. Please stay warm and safe inside.

Now this is how you kick off the school year! Let's go, Cubs!!!
